Position Summary: This position is a 12-month tenure-track Extension position in Community Development within the UOG Extension Service with a primary role in “Extension and Outreach.” In this role the faculty member will review past Extension programs and accomplishments, and conduct needs assessments to identify current issues and factors affecting a broad spectrum of Community Development topics for the island and region. As a change agent the successful candidate will use these findings and relevant data to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate Extension programs in Community; wellness, livability, economics, and resource development for Guam and the Western Pacific. Particularly, the areas of emphasis are on community engagement, community assessment and planning, sustainable development, livability and wellness, community resource management, and identifying and promoting economic opportunities.
